Cumulus House

Central California Coast

In progress: Cumulus House is carefully sited above a cliff and backed against a grove of cypress trees with views up and down the Central California coast. The shape emerges out of the topography creating a protected atrium and garden open to the sky and sun yet sheltered from the wind and weather by the rugged form of the house in cast-in-place concrete. Cumulus is a net-zero house, it operates off-grid and is completely self-sufficient.
